Hacking DSTT Clone 3DS Support

So I swung by the official site for my el-cheapo DSTT clone (R4iGold.cn - the one with mario on the box) to notice that they posted firmware that supposedly supports the 3DS this week. With no 3DS to test it, I can't confirm it works, but the various folk working on firmware here may be interested in taking a look at the release.

I have been reading around the forums and its not a big surprise.
DS mode in 3DS is probably not hard to get working, but 3DS mode hasnt been hacked yet.
So it probably works fine in DS mode.

The 3DS's security seems to just be the same thing as the DSi's, so anything that could be updated to run on the DSi can work on the 3DS... in DS mode.

Oh yeah, I seriously doubt it supports 3DS mode, but it may be a useful find for firmware developers here looking to add 3DS support (for regular DS roms) to other DSTT clones and the original DSTT.
