Gaming dstt cheat help

can someone give me a step by step guide for cheats on dstt? all the cheats are in japanese. i got annoyed with my ds

if you want english cheats,then download it from cheats.gbatemp.net
delete the existing usrcheat.dat
place the downloaded usrcheat.dat into your TTMENU folder

ok i did that and when i loaded dstt i didnt have any cheats at all

did you download the right cheat file

Delete the old one!!!!
Download only USRCHEAT.DAt for DSTT!
PLS UNZIP IT (some people never bother to unzip)
and make sure you put it into TTMENU folder

if the cheat still doesn't appear (it could be the game ID)
try other games!

i deleted the current usrcheat and downloaded the gbatemp one. it still doesnt work and i think because it doesnt have any cheats in file because all there is in the new usrcheat is a media clip, changelog.txt,credits and help.txt, and gamelist.txt. is there something missing in it?

when i checked for cheats it wasnt there(on ds) if it helps the games i want cheats on is pokemon mystery dungeon time and darkness (both), new supe mario bros,kirby squeak squad, and mario hoops 3 on 3

well
make sure you have the correct rom, you can always use r4cce to take a look whats in the .dat
if the cheat doesn't appear it could be the game id is different

as for Mario hoops and Kirby goes .. what we got in the .dat is the "U" version
as for explorers of time and darkness we have both "E" and "U"

by the way.. do you know how to get to the cheat activation screen?

yeah.. press + , click on the CHEAT tab...
then it should appear
