Hey! New here :P

I recently made a Minesweeper clone for the Nintendo DS. It's nothing extraordinary, just something I'm proud of and willing to share :D

I'm not allowed to send any links to it, but I'll attach a picture of the game.
I'd be willing to send links/copies to anyone who asks, but I can't through this post

It would be appropriate to post a download link, or maybe even the source code on GitHub, then more people can try it for themselves without needing to ask. Minesweeper has been around for years, there's been lots of ports of the game to different systems, so you will have no issue with the forum rules.

If you're going to gatekeep your projects, maybe not make a thread on it? Just post a download link, or maybe even the source code on GitHub, then more people can try it for themselves without needing to ask. Calm down lol. He's a newbie to the forum. Newbies have to have a certain amount of posts to actually link anything. Plus, they did offer to share links to it via other means, since they couldn't use the linking feature here.

Honestly, I forgot that this was a thing with newcomers. My apologies. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm happy that I get to see new homebrew made for older systems like the DS, and that I hope they can in the future continue with developing great games along the way. A download link, once they reach a certain number of posts, would be great; must be quite difficult when you only have DMs to distribute your game.

Well, normally newcomers don't have stuff like this to post. You won't realize what you can do until a few posts in, and by then, you probably interacted enough with other people. Kind of a one off situation if that makes sense.
