I have Svsip on my Ds lite
I can call people using a voip account
Just that the call is through the internet so its something to do with a blocked connection

i used svsip (dont know if its the right name XD. i got it working. i hear people but they cant hear ,e. they coul buts its reall really fuzzy they cant understand me. so its a known problem.

I saw this and i decided to install it too but im having the same problem as OP. It calls the phone, the phone rings, but when you answer you cant hear or talk to each other

I had this problem too, and the only thing you can do is change the settings in the .ini file that it comes with. the maximum settings for volume (there are two, one for output and one for input) is either 5 or 10, I think it was 10, and if you go over, it says error your account is incorrect or something like that

I think the problem is that if you have a flash card i dont think its programmed to read microphones because if i play any games with mic i have to have the ds headset ready so i can talk
