No, but seriously, I don't see any point in getting a DSi when you already have a DS lite!
So just get a Wii, it'll be a lot more fun for you and your friends or relatives!

Lots of games for the wii...just do a search on google and you'll find a long long list.

You can definitely change and replace your DS Lite's case. Just need to get a nice guide teaching you how to dismantle it.

Modchip is necessary to read backup wii and gamecube games.

Without it, you can still read backup wii games with Backup Launcher. But not able to read backup gamecube games.

I have a DSi and I live in Japan so I can use it for everything it's supposed to be used for. By that I mean I can connect to the internet and use the online store. Thats the biggest difference and as of right now that's not much to write home about the games because the games arent great yet. I didn't have a DS before I got a DSi so I figured why not? The the other extras like the bigger screen and better speakers (which are friggin amazing)... I dont really see the point in getting one instead of a Wii right now. If you get a DSi now youll have a DS that is a little better than the ones out in the states now since Nintendo said the online capabilities are region specific. If anything buy a Wii now and get a DSi in a year or so after it gains a little more functionality.

Even though a lot of people are saying stick with the DS Lite, I'm sure some of them are quite hypocritical about it. I know I'm eventually gonna get a DSi, since it IS more versatile than the DSL.
I'm sure the shoulder buttons won't screw up on them as quickly either.

And when I do get a DSi, I'm gonna make sure I'm gonna smack on some screen protectors the first time I open it.
