Homebrew DSi-Mode finally cracked.

Another image, from LONG ago, just to show it isn't 100% infallible proof. Not trying to say its false, just that we can't assume it must be true from that single image, because the one I linked acknowledges that it is fake.

The photo isn't what makes it so convincing, it's the fact that it came from a reliable source.
And once again, they're releasing a proof video sometime soon.

No source is completely infallible. I however do believe that it is inevitable that DSi mode will be cracked, and be usable by everyone. I'm glad to hear about this news

But OzModChips is generally trusted. And they said they were going to upload video proof that it's real.

I contacted Team Cyclops about implementing these capabilities into DS App Studio. I am currently working on implementing their development kit into DS App Studio. This is a time of cheer and jolly thoughts for the homebrew developers.

Not all the time can one site of the same reason created as any other site be reliable.

Some of the most professional site can be misleading and actually tell false information to users all over the world.

I read what you said, just clarifying for the people that don't have much hope in such a flash-cart that could change the world of homebrew. =/

i was told about this hack awhile ago. ozmod told me he would post info around the 25th. i don't know all that much about it yet but it is indeed real. there is a 2nd unnamed team who is working on a new flash kit. i haven't had any contact with them yet, only through resellers, so i don't know if they will use this hack. with the ability to read/write from/to the sd slot and load to nand all we need is dsi-ware decrypted. time for a community wide brute force attempt =P.

i'm getting more info and i'll make a front page post at some point in the next few minutes or tomorrow that brings attention to what ozmod posted on this twitter.

I would say this is very interesting, considering how hard it was to hack.
Could we have a sub-forum for Nintendo DSi hacking? It would be every interesting having a lot of people get involved.

This is the DS scene, if somebody can charge money for it they will.

They charge for Ps3 jailbreaking when it could be free. So I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

A bit more incentive for me to get myself a DSi. We'll have to see where this goes to pass judgment.

I did. You said that "you people" think that the single picture by itself was reliable proof. I quoted myself from the first page practically stating otherwise. And a lot of people here know what I said in the quote, so they're not naive or ignorant either.

And I don't get why this would convince people to buy the DSi. You do realize that the 3DS is releasing in 2-5 months?

I'm going to hold off getting a Cyclo DSi until I see the extents of this exploit.
