when the "DSi homebrew channel" is developed, i'll sit down with Livin in a box to make an app where you put in the parameters for your brew (desired amount) and it tells you how much of what you need, and how long it will take. it will also schedule for you when to do any subsequent steps.

But you need to be able to decode the contents. You could do the same thing to DSiWare games, but they need to be decoded first.

No way ... this way it keeps the kiddies from opening new threads every 5 min with DSi nonsense ideas. It keeps it all together this way and supplies a good laugh for the rest of us. It's also a very nice non-planned aprils-fool thread for next year. It rules! Feeling down? Want to slit your throat? Feeling/noticing that you're stupid?

36 pages with 10 posts each, right? 360 posts ... and only a count-of-half-a-hand of it actually makes any sense/contributes (this one doesn't either, ofcourse). I love this topic, aliens will deliver us "the almighty key" and all kinds of people have all kinds of graphics and ideas ready to implement it in 5 secs after they've got "it". And when anyone beats all the people posting here to actually making a "homebrew channel", they've thought of it first and were just about to make it.

Well on the plus side the first DSi Enhanced game comes out on Tuesday I think. Although that doesn't mean it will be decoded right away. But it's still more progress than we have so far...

It's not coming out on Tuesday, they are going to be announcing it at E3, which starts on Tuesday, it's supposedly going to be coming out some time in June

Well, gamefaqs says that it'll be out on the 17th of june and gamestop says the 23rd june

I doubt that It'll be of any use, it just uses the camera, unless it does anything from the sd card it's useless

not true. It starts in DSi mode, so any hack will be in DSi mode. It may not allow full hardware access, but it'll still be DSi mode, so more likely we'll be able to make a hack of some sort for it. But as you say it doesn't access SD card...but neither did Twilight Princess. So I believe there is hope for us yet with this game. We just need to dump the save from it and hack it and place it back (providing there even is a vulnerability in the game). I doubt that'll happen anytime soon though, and tbh, I reckon they should wait and try to find a hack in a better game, rather than wasting efforts on a game people will then have to fork out money for to use once. And this game may not have a vulnerability, even less an exploitable one. But there is a chance.

So using an exploit in the camera channel you can copy over system menu data over to an sd card in the sd slot. So right now i'm working with it. Separating it to see individual channels. Once i do that i can figure out how to make channels....

what??? you're trying to MAKE a channel? WHY!?! Does nobody realize it's NOT THAT EASY! You don't just "make a channel". Just because the camera channel has SD access doesn't mean it's exploitable. I don't even think you were talking about making an exploit. I believe you wanted to take the photo channel and edit it or something. Which will not work without the DSi common key. Even with the Common Key, I doubt you'd be able to do it as you obviously haven't got a clue what you're talking about. This thread seriously needs locked or people will be given false hope by idiots coming up with stupid ideas like this.

There is more than just a hope with this game. In my opinion, this game will give us everything we need to completely hack the DSi.
