I wonder why nintendo didn't give the DSi MP3 support. I know AAC is better, but still, it will piss off the target demographic of little kids and seniors who don't know shit about audio codecs.

Yah there have already been a few topics about people freaking out because their DSi didn't recognize their AAC files because they use a bad converter, lol.

300th Post Woot!

Im pretty sure demonoid would provide a GOOD converter. the dsi reads m4as, most common ipod format. or you could just buy an acekardi and not have to worry about converting XD

I don't know if this was stated earlier, but in the early days of the DS, DS actually stood for Developer's System, according to Nintendo Power Magazine. I never heard about Dolphin System.

Ok I'll add that.

Also, does anyone know how I could request to get this stickied without like agitating the GBATemp team.

Umm.. I have a question.

I heard that DSiware is region locked, but how??

Is it like :If you had a us DSi you can't acess the shop if you don't live in us?
Because I heard people say this. Can someone please confirm this.

Bump, I added quite a few questions:

A question about what DS/DSi Mode is and why we're trying to get DSi Mode.
A question about Yasu's/the Fifa 08 exploit.
A question that includes all the current fake DSi compatible flashcarts.
A question that informs people about WB3000's bruteforcer and it includes a download link.
and A question about what it means to have an update-able kernel in your flashcart.

Also I updated the question that includes all the current non fake DSi Flashcarts. (I added the M3 Real i and it's estimated release date, and I added the exact date for the release of the iTouch2)

hello, i have a DSi japan version, is it possible to hack the firmware to english version,
i bought the japanese version because it's cheap( bought it from my friend, in us$ is about 120$ include ak2i because he needs money for his laptop installment),

i'm really confused about the menu, especially the camera and wifi settings, and a bit afraid about the region locked dsiware, i hope it can be hacked

Not yet. And there's no way to DL the region locked DSi store apps / games in english for your Japan DSi either. You can only connect to the (J) store.

Might happen someday with custom firmware, but there's nothing yet.
