I've looked into getting audio from a WiiWare title, The Magic Obelisk. So far I have the soundfont used in the game and found a way to convert the BRSEQ files to MIDI.

However, I want to get the start point and end points of a MIDI file that loops music, extend the MIDI to play the loop sequence twice, and fade out 10 seconds after it starts a third loop. This is a format I hear in gamerip soundtracks, and I wonder what is used to get that result.

For instance, is there a specific music software or program to manipulate the MIDI files in that way? Or is there additional data generally inside WiiWare or disc games that determine when to loop the BRSEQ file?

I appreciate any help!
