Seriously, until this thread becomes useful, LOCK IT.
QUOTE(Team Fail @ Feb 11 2011, 02:46 PM) Well, one useful thing may arise: We can find out how to make custom images for our DSi systems and import images instead of taking pictures of them.
POINT IN CASE.
Thank you.

I'd like a decent image on the top screen so I don't have to look at the next best thing, seeing as the DSi Camera Channel can be decrypted. Why has no one suggested this as of yet?

THAT WASN'T A COMPLEMENT.

I meant that n00bs like you are just posting "CAN WE PLAY R0MZ YET OR CAN WE PIRATE STUFFZ" when this DOES NOT LET US DO THAT. IT'S JUST LETTING US LOOK AT THE EXISTING CODE.

I'm saying that we can LOOK at the DSi Camera app (which is only existing code besides the menus and wireless clients) and see how the images are coded so we can have custom images on the top screen. I never said that this can let us play roms, and I get it that we cannot play roms or pirate crap. Since the Photo app can be decrypted, why don't we figure out how images are coded to at least prove something can be done? *facepalm*

Ah, I though it was one of the two.

Well, you learn something new everyday

.
Actually, "everyday" is an adjective that means 'average'. You meant "every day".

...and go back under your bridge.

I find it funny that Desmume can load some of these channels, er, DS Download Play. I thought emulators were supposed to match, but not exceed the capabilities of a NDS system. lol

I plan to look at the Camera app today when I get on a computer, so I can paint a pretty picture and see it on my DSi. :D ...that is, if I can get it to work. If there was a "DSi-mode simulator," it could be easier, but that doesn't exactly exist as of yet.

Actually, Dolphin exceeds the Wii's/Gamecube's abilities by being able to load higher-rez textures, and higher resolutions even without hi-rez textures. Same as any N64 emu supporting Rice's plugin.

I INSTALLED THIS INTO MY R4 ON MY DS BUT THERE NO CAMERA.
HALP! HOW 2 DSIMODE?
It's not funny, twiztidsinz.

Go back,
Read the entire thread.
Realize that this will not do ANYTHING for you at this moment.
It's just a stepping stone toward being able to do something useful.

And with that said, I'm closing this thread.
