Hacking DSi 1.5 firmware out?

I've just checked on DSiBrew and it says that

# 9 February 10 Nintendo has released an update for the DSi System. No changes have yet been identified.

...Is it real or what? I don't want to update for fear of blocking my cart, even if it says no changes have been identified...

Anyone updated?

It just makes the browser and shop a bit faster and still shows the version number as 1.4.Its justa minor update which also adds updates to some dsiware but i cannot find any changes after updating them.

Yep, flashcarts still work

Noone knows what exactly was changed, but its just some performance thingies

How could you guys miss this? There were two threads about this on the forums and both of them got like 7 pages to them.

The update isn't mandatory and it doesn't really do anything besides speed a couple things up.

DSi 1.5 isnt out yet atleast in the UK amd EU ..updated a DSi 1.3 yesterday BUT it might be out overnight just before DSi XL hits the UK and EU market on the 5th of march..Nintendo may want to roll out DSi XL with pre-rested 1.5 on them..so no worries as yet but they arent far...

I just updated last night guys... Few I thought I was a gooner when I saw this page. Will I still be able to use a flashcart like AceKard2i? In the settings page it says version 1.4E

I'd recommend dealextreme myself... they can take a while, but do send the stuff, and are cheap at it - plus their deliveries come to finland just fine.

Though, they are on chinese new year break, I myself still need to wait at least 6 days to hear about my stuff.
