Hey TrolleyDave, any recent NDS release lists available? I'm at a last ref of 4243 right now, which appears waaaaaaay behind Advanscene (4439). Thanks for all the continued hard work.

I didn't realise anyone was still using the app. I haven't updated the release list in ages, mostly cos I haven't really had alot of time to do it. I'll try and get it done over the next few days.

Top man - true I have had a break myself, but particularly because the Rominator developer has retired from his project, I think you're gonna have a few people a knockin' for DSFCC 0.4x and regular updates again!

Many thanks and don't think that there aren't quite a few of us who still rate DSFCC and your work!

Whenever I try to add games to my library, it always errors with 'Cannot create file *******. This process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

How do I fix this?

-Matthew

hey i just found this and am loving it. just wondering what site/list you use for your ds lists, as your list is not the same as the one from the site where i get my games. but thanks for such a great product. i originally started using it back when it was r4commander but stopped using it and loving the new version

It uses the AdvanScene numbering system. I basically just rip the details out of the Offlinelist DAT file and convert it to my own format then add extra details from the roms.

so this Works on All Flashcart? espicially Acekard 2i and IPlayer cause thats what i have

It caters to the AK2i, I use an AK2 myself. Don't know about the iPlayer, I've not got one. What is there about the iPlayer that would need to be catered for?

well it supports GBA Emulation with Darkchen Emulator and some GBA has Problem with Saving not sure if you can do something about that?

Well it allows you to set which folder to copy your GBA games into, you might want to switch of SRAM patching as well. As for fixing the bugs in darkchens emulator that ain't really something I can do. You'd have to take that up with darkchen.

+ You can now have multiple users in the save library.

Have not had time to mess with a manager yet, will hopefully get some time this wekend, but this is what just set me over the edge for this one among the ones I have been reading about the last few days.

I'm going to need to manage M3izero cards for myself, my wife, my two kids, and very likely my brother and at least one friend.

My goal is:

1. A single library of our roms, untrimmed, zipped, named according to release with # and such for easy sorting and dupe avoidance.
2. Copy games to the cards renaming them to something more friendly for viewing and trimming them on a game per game basis to avoid breaking wifi/other features on some, and saving space on the rest. keeping the archive untouched in the process.
3. A save backup system that keeps seperate saves for different people, even if they are playing the same game.
4. Homebrew management (or at least not breaking it) The very first thing I booted up when my M3 came in.... nethackDS.

A lot of the managers out there want to trim your archive, I don't care about space usage on the PC side, I'm more worried about permenant damage to a rom making me re dump it. I don't mind trimming as I move it to the rom for some games, but I want my archive pristine. It looks like you have trim when copy and trim perm as seperate options.

You are the only one I've seen mention multiple user save stuff.

You can download the firmware pack for the M3i Zero from the download center. Don't know how up to date it is though. You can build your own firmware packs from the app anyway, the util for doing it is pretty straight forward.

1. The app doesn't allow for multiple libraries. It only allows for multiple save libraries.
2. It doesn't rename the games as it copies them to the card. It just keeps the same name as it's stored in the library as. So if it's (0001) - NDS Game (U) then that's how it appears on the microsd card.
3. The multiple users for the saves is pretty basic but it works pretty effectively. It's just a simple list, there's no passwords or anything. You select the user from a drop down list and it displays those saves, copies the saves to the card from that folder and when you import the saves it copies them from the card to that folder.
4. It handles homebrew pretty well. It has to be installed via a pack though and at the moment it doesn't import saves from homebrew, but it's something I plan on adding. Most of the code is already in there, it's just finding time to finish it off! There's plenty of packs you can download from the app itself, and you can always build your own with the util anyway.

I think Rominator does multiple users as well I think. Not sure if there are any others that do though.

when i click on rename selected in nds library view, it does not rename the file, instead, it creates a new file with new name
what am i doing wrong?
