Aight, so if you have dsdoom on your R4 and start playing you may notice that it never works after the first or second launch, AND NEVER FEAR, FOR I KNOW HOW TO AVOID THIS!!
It is mainly how you exit the game.
IF YOU SWITCH YOUR CONSOLE OFF WITHOUT SAVING AND “PROPERLY” EXITING IT WILL CORRUPT YOUR DSDOOM FILE
HOW TO EXIT “PROPERLY”:
1:Save your game, i use 2 save slots per wad
2: pause and head to exit, using a to select
3: after the game sends a death threat to you for trying to exit, (“I aughta smack you for leaving! press y to get smacked” is an example) press a and the game will take a completely random sound effecy from your wad, plays it and the game AND CONSOLE will shut down.
4: turn console back on when you please
5: now you can either repeat the process or play another game!!
I have tested this theory and so far it is true, at least on my case. If not for you please reply!!
