Hacking DSClippers

I've put together a Rom Trimmer, DSClippers. It's very straightforward, and offers a save location, safe trimming support, and drag & drop.

When you say 'wreck your game', do you mean it will fail to properly overwrite an untrimmed rom with the trimmed one?

What'll happen, is it'll overwrite your untrimmed game with a partially trimmed one, and then it'll give an error because the program can't read the data anymore.

It was put together in an hour or so, so I'll add some routines to check for duplicate files sometime soon.

Fixed.

I also added name checking, to make sure that it won't overwrite any files at all, even in it's in the source folder

If anyone's using this, I updated to v1.2.

The code in this I was using was in Rominator as well, and it had bugs in it that would only let 1 out of every 20 games work when trimmed. Now every game should work.

Well, now you'll be wondering why some other games don't trim now, like Mario Kart.

I've rewritten the code, and it works even better now

I select multiple roms, 10+, and select it to start trimming

the GUI then freezes... but it is still trimmer

It's a Windows bug. I may not have control over that.

However, I'll see if I can force a refresh and see what happens.

Nah, but it doesn't effect the trimming
