Hacking DS2 recognized by 3DS XL, but not by 3DS

My DS2 is recognized and works perfectly on my XL, but it isn't recognized at all by my 3DS. Anything I can do?

Are the firmwares on both consoles the same?

No, it works on the 3DS XL with 6.1 and not on the 3DS with 4.4.

So it's a hardware problem then. Have you tried cleaning the contacts on the 3DS?

Have you tried any other cards on your 3DS? Even a retail game? Maybe the 3DS is outright broken. Hope not, probably not, but doesn't hurt to check.

Yes, all my retail 3DS and DS games work. The DS2 doesn't show up in the menu at all, while it works perfectly on my 3DS XL.

I now have another Flashcart which behaves the same way, so the problem must be the 3DS. Any idea what I can do with the 3DS?

Update your 3ds (non xl) to the latest firmware (6.1.2-12x)
