Gaming DS Shuts down randomly

I have a problem with my DS. After playing for a short while, console will just shut down.

Battery is full, flash cart is not problem (happens with both Acekard and Supercard mini sd). But I suspect that something is wrong with buttons, because Plants vs Zombies, which uses only touch screen works perfectly.

I don't want to send it to repairs because it would probably cost less to get another working DS from ebay, so I want to know if I can fix that problem myself. I would open it, but I have no idea what to look for. Any help?

It could be a loose connection or damaged ribbon cable.

Try cleaning battery contacts.

Its easy to take apart you can take it apart and check.

Yeah sounds like a bad connection somewhere or moisture problems. Do you blow on your L and R buttons alot?
