Hacking DS Screen Freezes saying "Loading" after few minutes

I purchased a new DS a month ago, and also purchased new R4 with 8GB micro SD card a week ago. Copied new firmware (v1.19) and few games (.nds). After playing for few minutes screen freezes with "Loading" sign. Even when re-started, Loading sign remains forever. When I insert the micro SD back in Computer, I cannot explore the files, I have to re-format and load all files (firmware and games etc) to have the R4 work.

Even after re-formating and re-loading the files, the problem exists.

Please help me.

If you have a genuine R4, it can't accept SDHC cards and the clone 1.19 firmware. The current firmware for genuine R4s is 1.18 and the maximum SD card size is 2gb. This is probably what's causing your R4 to freeze.

Switch to a 2gb sd card and try R4's 1.18 firmware.

If you're using a clone R4, it just may be unreliable and corrupting your sd card. Consider getting a genuine R4 or a different flashcart that supports SDHC cards.

you have a fake R4....
because the real ones doesn't support microSDHC (anything above the new 4gb and above)
1.18 is the latest, so you even got your firmware from a fake r4ds site.
