Hello. :)

Press and hold "A"+ "B" on Powering on your DSi.
When the Unlaunch screen appears select at the top of the screen "OPTIONS" please.

i can't open the options with a+b when powerin on... weird. I backed up the nand, ran it in no$gba, but still doesn't open the options when a+b is pressed at start. Maybe who knows what the previous owner did to this particular system. I'll just load the 1.9 installer, and overwrite it

Did you try to make an SD Card with your Nand backup and TWiLight ?
You can use the HiyaCFW helper for this:

https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-multi-platform-gui-hiyacfw-helper.518306/

With that you may able to access Unlaunch settings.:)

(A)+(B) at startup works with unlaunch 1.8 and higher. http://problemkaputt.de/unlaunch.htm
problemkaputt.de/unlaunch.htm said:
Older unlaunch version did have fixed hotkeys:
  • None: Start sd:\bootcode.dsi (if present)
  • Button A: Start original launcher and show unlaunch version number (default when bootcode.dsi not present)
  • Button B: Start ROM cartridge
  • Button X: Start sd:\bootthis.dsi (instead of bootcode.dsi)
  • Button Y: Skip Wifi init
  • Dpad Up: Show red/blue/green to indicate relauncher bootstages
  • Dpad Down: Do NOT invalidate cache on startup of installer

Ah that's why. Yes, those shortcuts work. I was thinking they were referring to the very first versions. So i'll just take unlaunch 1.9, rename it as bootthis.dsi, then i launch it as with X and upgrade it.

I recently hacked my dsi about 4 days ago, and everything was fine. Now, when I turn on my system, It greets me with a black screen, and if I press the power button, screen turns white, then black very quickly. Tried it without the sd card, same results. No unlaunch menu or anything, just a black screen. No text on either screens, and as far as I know, everything is updated to the latest version. Nothing wrong with the ds either.

Hello. :)

I am sorry for your experience.:(

Did you tried to press and hold Button(s) "A" or
"A"+"B" with/without the inserted SD Card when you Powering on your DSi ?
And also please try holding "SELECT" to check if Autoboot is on in CFW.

Thank you.:)

Can anyone share GBA Exploader 0.58X (that one that supports M3 Sakura)? I can't find a live link for it anywhere.

yes just tried between diamond (cartridge) and pearl (twilight menu)

tried three times in a row but one time the dsi with twilight menu froze when entering the wireless lounge (don't know how it's called in english)

pearl via twilight menu couldn't see the wii for pokemon ranch though...

Try holding L immediately after pressing A/START to launch Pearl (via nds-bootstrap) in TWLMenu++.
It will not fix the Wii issue though.

I was thinking about on getting a dsi but I wonder if I'll be able to play these castlevania games by installing them in the SD. I know it says 3ds but will they work on the dsi ?
