I've updated to the latest TwilightMenu version (13.0) and now Sands of Destruction doesn't boot anymore, oh noezz~~~
it was working when I was using the 12.0 version release last February. no idea what caused it to go kaput on version 13.0

Is it a DSi-Enhanced ROM?
If so, make sure it's set to run in DS mode.
If it's already set to DS mode, what's the SDK version shown?

Maybe the Rom is not ok.

Hello.

You can use the latest Version from @Robz8 GodMode 9i:
https://github.com/RocketRobz/GodMode9i/releases
for Backup your GameCart Save.

Copy it into a Folder (for Example SD:\roms\apps\godmode) and start it from within TWiLight Menu.

Get it back to the GameCart......

It did not work.
I also turned off basically everything- DSi mode, enhancements, everything.
It can't be the fat table cache because there's no corruption, so what do I do?

Try deleting the "fatTable" folder in "sd:/_nds/nds-bootstrap/".

Well, finally figured it out, after deleting all of the Sand of Destruction configuration files in the nds bootstrap folder, I just rebooted the game by running it in forced DSi Mode 166 Mhz TWL and it finally created a system file, then restored the default config setting for the ROM after saving my progress. No more problems after that, kudos for the quoted message, it gave me a hint to fix my problem!

Just replaced all of the folders in the _nds folder with the latest ones and reinstalled twilight menu after deleting the old version from the FBI menu, anyway disregard the log file, the game has no glitches or slowdown and I already fixed my issue so thanks for the assist!

Randomized ROMs are a kind of ROM hacks.
Please show the beginning of the ROM file in a hex editor.

So it'll eventually crash due to AP measures, unless you manually AP-patched the ROM first.
