That game doesn't work unless you have the ndsbootstrap version 0.10.1, according to the compatibility list.

Also, please update TWLMenu++ to v8.5.1.
If you installed it using the updater, then use the updater.
If you installed it manually, then download it from the same page you downloaded v8.4.0.

Are you booting TWLMenu++ via a DSiWare exploit (aka DSiWarehax), or Unlaunch/HiyaCFW?
I do not know, I just took my memory card with the Sd card and put the folders there;u;
So DSiWarehax (assuming it's Memory Pit, in your case), then.
Please follow this guide to install Unlaunch+HiyaCFW.

Do you know what OS the SD card is formatted in?

I had formatted the memory card to run version 8.4.1, and it worked. I played until today, but I wanted to play multiplayer.
If you have a Windows OS, please use that to format your SD card.
Unlaunch will read your SD card, if it's formatted by Windows.
I do not have a computer when I remove the sd from my dsi xl it has a list
