Homebrew DS App Studio[FREE]

I got another error upon startup.

I'm full of problems. Aren't I?

Installs fine with CrossOver.

Still trying to get it to actually run though.

As a side note - is the install directory supposed to be DSAppStudio or DS App Studio?

It is supposed to be DSAppStudio, the last installation was made wrong.

Okay, the fixed version is finally up. The most recent download is up.

That is good that it works with CrossOver. If I am not mistaken, since it is supposed to represent the Windows file system, it should work.

God, that video's awful.
DEE ASS APP STUDIO
THE FOOTUR OF THE DEE ASS HOUMBREW WIRLED
Never, ever use text to speech.

I've tried the new one.

This time it doesn't even show the DSAppStudio icon, just the uninstall. I did install it into the Vista bottle, so I'll try installing it into the XP bottle.

EDIT: Tried it in the XP bottle. Now this time it doesn't even show the DSAppStudio folder in the virtual C drive.

What can I say, I hate recording my own voice, so I use text-to-speech.

The video I made was just there to show what it would look like. I am still working on the official video to put on the homepage.

Oops, sorry about that Ev.olve. I forgot to check 'Make desktop Icon' when making the installation.

Dang, I need to focus here. Anyways, you should be able to go to the folder and run it from there. The exe is called AwsomiSoft DS App Studio.

I'm still getting the same errors.

I think it's because it's not generating a "projects" folder.

Well here's how the install goes.

I launch it, fine from there.

Runs through the install fine.

It then goes "If you would like to start up the program blah blah blah" so I click next because the other two options are greyed out.

It then shows some Clickteam thing. At that point CrossOver recognises that the install is complete and simulates a Windows reboot. When it says finished, I go to my virtual C drive and there's no DSAppStudio folder.

Any ideas?

I think I put the wrong installation on the site. Once you do that, try downloading it from the site again and then install it.

I don't know what it won't create the Projects folder in the DSAppStudio directory. I think I put the wrong installation though on the site before. I put the new installation up.

Hmmm... CrossOver may not be compatible with installing programs in the C:\ directory, since the directory doesn't exist in Mac.

I may need to make a whole new system for DS App Studio in order for it to work on Mac.

CrossOver runs on a virtual C drive. It worked before, but not anymore, not sure why.

I'll just wait patiently for the Mac version.

I've built a prototype of the site, rebuilt to work on any resolution > 640x480.

Barebones screeny:
awsomisoft.jpg

Best part: Only 5 images, and a couple PHP files, a CSS file, and a font file. 75KB as is at that screenshot. (and 45kb of that is the font!)

No javascript! All done via CSS! (and the buttons change on hover)

Ok. It seems to be working quite nicely now. Just a quick question, how can I modify the header (image, and the three lines that the DS displays)?

Use a program called RomeR. Download the DSxINF suite and it's one of the included tools (I recommend specifically that release of RomeR!) It's pretty easy to use. Just make sure you check "Homebrew Game" checkbox
