yeah, off the top of my head fushigi is mysterious, so fushigi na machi is mysterious town/village or whatever. So, unfortunately not a new game.

umm there was a different version of layton they were talking about and i think its this one rite?
it would take some time till we get it here cuz usually the puzzle concepts have also to be shifted into english

Machi doesn't refer to an actual street. What they meant by street is like an area. Like a drive or an avenue.

Michi is the word for an actual street. Referring to the pathway.
