I am very interested in playing this. The first one released in 2008 had some very creative, fun elements. They totally revamped traditional batting and pitching dynamics and utilized the touchscreen in unique ways. If they can tweak the gameplay and career levels, they might have a worthwhile title on their hands. Goodness knows there is very little competition on the DS for great baseball games. MLB Power Pros was the best Baseball game on the DS the day it was released.

... baseball simulation game that incorporates whimsical, fantasy elements. Players can compete in stadiums such as a ghost town, amidst Aztec ruins, or even inside of a stomach. Besides learning how to hit, throw, and catch, players can accidentally sink in quicksand or get stung by mettlesome bees. While in the "Innards Stadium," players might hear an occasional burp.

Seems like there's more to it than MLB Power Pros, although it looks like they're still going to deny us a proper localisation of Power Pro Kun Pocket. I'll have it a shot, I find baseball the most incredibly dull sport on earth to watch but I really like the mechanics in the Power Pro series.

I assume that's because they only translate Power Pro games with MLB players. None of the Japanese ones on DS do, unfortunately.

i mean touch screen controls? come on now either give is a faithful rendition of ppk in English or don't bother releasing this garbage
