This game got me hyped up for the series again. Loved the 2D ones, but found Abyss such a bore that I couldn't care about Tales anymore. Then this one came up, back in 2D... yeah, I fell for it.

I'm pumped up. Sure hope it's good.

there is no such thing as sequel in Tales series? or correct me if me wrong..
Tales of Destiny 2 (PS2, JPN only) is a sequel to Tales of Destiny 1, but I think that's about it.

And for the record: Tales of Eternia (PS1, JPN) was wrongly labeled at Tales of Destiny 2 in the USA, due to commercial reasons. This one's no sequel, though.

Ooh...I'll muddle through Japanese for this one.

Still wondering, though, why Namco never saw fit to bring either of the other two DS Tales games to the U.S. With the success of the DS and a rather huge Tales fanbase here, it doesn't make sense not to localize these games.

The game will be released in two versions: one using the animation, produced by Production I.G., and the other using the CG, produced by Shirogumi.

(another source)
QUOTEThe key difference between Tales of Hearts: CG Movie Edition and Tales of Hearts: Anime movie edition is the movies. One has anime cutscenes and the other has CG.

The japanese Tales of... Games that I've played are riddled with Kanji, so if you can't read Kanji (Like I can't.) you wont be able to read most of the dialogue. However, most of the items and locations are Katakana, so that'll be refreshing.

ME WANT PLAY.

From what I've seen on a site, the game is 2048MB.
Two Gigabytes? I seriously doubt that. Maybe two Gigabits.

And shadowboy was refering to Rod's post, who said ToD2 was the only sequel.

Anyway, this seems nice, I really hope they localize it. I don't get the point of the two versions though, Tales has always been anime-styled, why suddenly change it?

And whoever said he didn't like Abyss: Did you get to Akzeriuth? If not, then shame on you.
