The real guy on the photos is Cave President, who gives tipps to shooting fans!

The game itself is amazing, tried it for ten minutes and found out that you have replayslots for saving your whole run!

The biggest worry for me personal where the controls, but it is well playable with the digi pad!

PSnly a couple more shoots!!!!

There's a typo on the filename, [which is why a few people may have trouble finding it]

If you go to the NFO, the actual name is cvn-ketui.

A tile editor, google for them but I doubt you will find any use of them.

Erm.....so like.....where's the actual GAME here? I fight a couple bosses and game over?!? WTF! Is that really all there is to this? Where's the levels....you know, all the little enemies, obstacles and interesting backgrounds leading up to the boss?

What makes this a 128meg (trims to 112megs) ROM?!? What's eating up all that space? The tutorials?

I was expecting something more akin to that 1945 game on NeoGeo.

What a disappointment. This is more like a tech-demo disguised as a full game. The old original 1942 arcade game is more interesting than this.

Please tell me I'm missing something here. I mean, if this is just "fight a couple bosses and then game over" for each of the difficulty selections, I'll just delete this crap now.

Yeah, Ketsui DS is just a boss rush mode of the original Ketsui. This was announced loooong ago, and considering Arika couldn't port Ketsui to PS2 without game-killing slowdowns, this make sense. Although I can't see how people would want to shed 50+$ on an import copy of a shmup without levels. If you want the enhanced version of Ketsui, complete with levels, hope you have a japanese X360, 'cause it's gonna be released in Japan next January.

All the art, probably. All the difficulties have difference enemies, btw. Still disappointing, but it's enough

Well, shit is damn fun. The bosses all have engaging and well-made bullet patterns, the music is good, and the gameplay is classic Cave goodness. Good stuff, good stuff. Best DS shmup so far, by a landslide.

Already? I was under the impression that this wasn't set to come out until another few months or so.

[Edit]I don't like boss rush-only games but I'm getting this anyway because Nanostray 2 and Space Invaders Extreme are the only shmups I have at present.
