Try it. You'll be amazed how well the transition from PC to DS went. Of course, it's missing all the military strategy the original had, but still, it's a great economical RTS. Top notch for the DS

Now on a more serious note... It looks fine, I just don't like the graphics. And by "I don't like" I mean I can't stand that kind of aesthetics. Also, I didn't really liked the PC version, even though I do like many others RTS games. I guess it's a matter of taste.

This game is really good unlike Settlers was a disappointment. Very good tutorial intros and good gameplay. Way better than Simcity and of those kind.

Honestly, first impressions count man.

I see the screenshots and I'm like, how the hell can I enjoy that?
Maybe I will give it a try, but I guess the graphics will psych me into hating the game.

I played the EU version for a couple of days in the survival/free mode, but random earthquakes happen too often. I built some large settlements and earthquakes destroy everything if they get too large. Other than that, this is a quality RTS game although the story mode is a bit frustrating at times.

Didn't like it at first but once I got over the flaws it grew on me a lot so I do recommend it to people who like this sort of game.
