I beat the J version, but I'm not waiting for Apollo Justice. The series' end was SO EPIC a new game set after it would just ruin everything

Right on! I have so many games I need to put time in to! I never finished PW1, never got around to playing PW2, so I'll nab this one but keep it on the back burner till I get through all these games!

I'm going to go play Paper Mario now...

Saves from the Japanese release (the English-language part, that is) seem to work okay with the US release if anyone's interested.

I found it to be about half the game long. o_0

Oh, I did know that but I just preferred the US release of the game. The Japanese one with English translations had a few typos and something about the text going past the borders in some parts of the game.

I wonder if there is any difference between the two versions though in terms of translations..?

Typos, yes. Text being longer than the textboxes, no.

However, the US release of PW1 and 2 had identical script (including typos) in the JP and US version, so I don't see why this one should be different...

Usually the typos still make it through. The translation is complete by the time the Japanese version is released, and no changes are made afterward.
