So hearing about the new firmware for the lite-ons, Im hoping to flash my 360 soon! I was wondering why I need the drive key, and what I'll need to get it. Plus a tutorial would help

Thanks in advance!

You need the drive key to play games. The 360 and it's drive are paired up with a key , no key or incorrect key and you can't play games. To get the key from a lite-on you need a rs232-ttl adapter of some sort. So either a connectivity kit v3 , maximus extractor or a home made one.

Home made? Do you happen to have a tutorial?

I forgot to ask, this is for only lite-ons or for all drives? My friend is requesting a hack. If it matters, I think he has a BenQ.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
