I heard 3.0.0 will gonna have coldboot and easy access to CFW without jig or pc.
In my opinion it’s worth to wait. However it’s up to you.

Yeah that‘s true. However, on lower firmware it‘s easier for hackers to find entry points. So it depends on what you want to do and how patient you are. You could also update to the latest firmware and use SX Pro. In the end it’s your decision.

It sucks that on mobile or at least on my galaxy s7 it doesn't show sigs. Anyways my hacking switch is on 3.0.0.

There are different forms and it depends on the exploit. For example it's possible that a hacker finds an exploit in a game that allows you to boot in CFW. But it depends on the exploit if a game is needed or not. Warmboot is only the process of booting in CFW while the system is already running.

On firmware 3.0.0 we probably don't need a jig in the future. I hope we'll get a coldboot solution.

This is what the warmboot softmod would look like. Its basically loading a webpage to run the exploit.
