A native homebrew port of ZUN's 2005 competitive danmaku Touhou 9: Phantasmagoria of Flower View for the Nintendo Switch (Horizon OS).
Built on the YomotsuHisami/th09 C++ reconstruction, this port runs the game natively on ARM64 (no wasm, no emulation) through SDL2 on an OpenGL ES 3 context over Nouveau/Mesa and streams the original music straight from thbgm.dat — no Linux, Box64 or Wine involved.

Features
- Local 2P versus: player 1 on the handheld / first controller, player 2 on a second controller.
- Same controls as all my Touhou ports, and the in-game Key Config can rebind them.
- Touch screen: drag to move in handheld mode.
- Japanese text with MS Gothic, or the Switch's own Japanese font if you don't have it.
- hbmenu shows the Japanese title on consoles set to Japanese.

Disclaimer: In compliance with ZUN's guidelines and copyright law, this repository contains ONLY the homebrew engine code. No game assets are distributed. You must legally own a copy of Touhou 9: Phantasmagoria of Flower View v1.50a.
1. SD Card File Structure
1. Ensure your Nintendo Switch is running custom firmware (Atmosphère CFW).
2. Download touhou9.nro from the Releases tab (or build from source).
3. Create the folder sd:/switch/touhou/touhou9/ and copy the following into it:
sd:/switch/touhou/ is the recommended home for all my Touhou ports (one folder per game) — much tidier than separate folders. The loader also accepts sd:/switch/th09/, sd:/th09/, sd:/touhou9/, sd:/games/th09/ and more, in any capitalisation — or simply the folder the NRO was launched from.
2. Music
PoFV ships its BGM inside thbgm.dat, and the port plays it directly with the original loop points. No extra download is needed.
3. Launching
Run touhou9.nro from the Homebrew Menu (hbmenu), Sphaira launcher, or a home screen forwarder. For 2P versus, connect a second controller as Player 2 and pick the two-player versus mode on the title screen.
