Hacking Downgrading 11.0/11.1 without second 3DS

Yes you do. You can access the eShop with ctr-httpwn (should be in the starter kit) to buy it

How lucky i am, fortunately i already have a compatible dsi ware, years ago i downloaded 4swords on my o3ds and then i did the transfer to my n3ds so now i just have to wait the release of the arm11 exploit

You'll need to reinstall menuhax because these folders are encrypted and are console-unique

Well I didnt really. I tried to hadrmod it myself, but I ended up breaking it. I found someone on here who would repair it and hardmod it for $75. Turns out I wrecked the motherboard, but he had a spare that he sold me for $20. Plus shipping with $100 insurance, and the extra solder I bought to try it myself, thats over 100.

You don't. That's exactly how I lost Menuhax for good.

You would need to remove Menuhax, run Browserhax (that no longer runs due to the Browser nag), use ctr-httpwn, install the game on eshop, run Browserhax again, and install Steelhax.

If you do so, you will end up like me. Stuck in 11.0 without homebrew . I think the easiest alternative, if not the only one, is hardmodding. In other words, don't even bother.

ROBRSG : if you have a n3ds and smashbros then you can try to use beaconhax, it's pretty hard to use and needs a linux OS (installed or live cd/usb), but it works, this thing allowed me to gain hbl access after losing it with 11.1 update, then i installed stickerhax and now i'm waiting for the exploit to hack my n3ds

Does this Work right now?, If I have a console in 11.0 or 11.1 with fieldrunners, and an entrypoint, can I run the dsiwarehex_installer from homebrew channel to inject the dsidowngrade savegame?

I don't think so, i tested it two days ago and it freezes when i try to inject the save, i think this is because we haven't an arm11 exploit yet.
But if ever it works for you, tell us and tell us how :3

Unfortunatelly it is a 2DS, there's not much I can do.

The only relief I have is that hardmodding is still an option. For now, I'm playing the waiting game.

I have my A9LH'd 2DS on Luma3DS 6.6 11.2U firm, and a new blue-faced 2DS that comes with Mario Kart 7 on OFW 11.0.0.33U, and I'm following the guide for the DSi downgrade, but I'm stuck at the part of getting Steelhax working. Nothing in my CFW 2DS Homebrew menu loads, they all freeze on the yellow screen. So I can't inject the steelhax save. Is there any other way to do it? I also can't load the 11.0.0.33U payload to my OoT3D cart either, since I don't have a PowerSaves dongle.

Seems you still can avoid the browser nag and run Browserhax in that firmware on n3ds, I don't know exactly how but a lot of people say it works. After loading it, you can manage to run that cttp thing, download Steeldivers Subwars and install Subhax afterwards.

I'm on two 2DSes, one is A9LHax'd, the other needed updated to 11.2 for me to continue, and I've got everything sorted now, thanks to BaseHaxx. Steelhax just won't work for me at all, so I gave up and just use BaseHaxx.
