God damn, treasure island dizzy was hard...
That's what the invincibility cheat was for

No saving and only one life, harsh. And even then it was still difficult.

wow, i haven't thought about those sort of games in a while...

takes me back...

scorched earth v1.5 (which i still have on 3.5" floppy!)
blade runner
carmageddon 2
x-wing/tie fighter
wing commander
mechwarrior
loom
full throttle

... these jump right out, but i'm sure there are tons i forget. i'd try to dig them out and play them again, but revisiting some of the "classics" turns into a bit of a let down sometimes. i'll just replay them in my mind's eye instead. well, maybe i'll see about finding scorched earth...

I like the shareware version of Raptor, it was a topdown shooter with lots of weapon upgrades. With the shareware version, you could play one of the 3 different level paths, allowing you to still beat the game :D

Commander Keen
Doom
SkiFREE(The monster was funny)
The Incredible Machine
Quake
Command and Conquer

All the good ones.
