I don't know if this is the correct section to post this: So I have a Wiikey and the latest wiikey version installed (I don't remember it's name but it is European). My Wii is on 3.3E. So when i try to load the Donkey Kong Game via Gecko OS the blue screen comes up with the 002 error. I've seen around here that the game works if you cahnge the language ti Japanese. I tried but nothing... Can someone give me some directions??? Oh I forgot to mention that the game is japanese (region)... Maybe I should use Wiizle Diizle Shiizle to patch to Pal???

i'm not to sure about this but can modchip users not use the GenericWiiPatcher to patch the 002 fix then run the game through the disk channel?

Yes they can, but with Gecko OS they can use a clean 1:1 copy which is still signed correctly. So this is possible on all firmware versions.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
