ROM Hack does tokimeki love plus work on r4i gold 3ds?

when i play it the )patched version of it which works just fine on the emulator i have) but it doesn't load on my r4i gold 3ds flashcard when i am using it on my dsi xl. but all other patched games i have played works on it my r4i gold 3ds. well except tokimeki girl side love plus and tokimeki 2nd kiss both english patched doesn't work on it. so does tokimeki patched games work on my flashcard? or was i supposed to get an older flash card?

the website for the patched version said it should work on flashcard(it just didn't specify what kind though)

also english patched love revo which is a similar genre works on my flashcard just not the tokimeki games.

1. Do you mean Love Plus or Tokimeki Memorial? They're two different series, and entirely unrelated except that they are dating simulators.
2. Have you tried switching the firmware to, say, RetroGameFan's Ysmenu? It could be a simple problem of your firmware not supporting these games.

on the translation index they called it tokimeki memorial girl's side 1st love plus. i just forgot to add the '1st' on it. i don't really get ysmenu though. like is there a link for a simple tutorial?
i looked for ysmenu and didn't know what to download. and some people said that ysmenu only works for older r4 cards not the r4i gold versions.

The r4ids.cn and r4idsn.com have Wood, which is better and works fine with these games.

However if your cart has a different home page, then you'll want to use YSmenu with RGF's updates.

i have the r4ids.cn r4i 3ds gold. and the latest wood kernel specified for dsi xl v1.4.5 and the latest update for 3dsxl. but it doesn't work with the games it just shows a white screen adter it says loading.
am i supposed to be using an older wood?
does ysmenu work with r4i gold 3ds?
