Hacking Does the R4i Gold Pro 2015 work with 3DS firmware 9.9.0.26E?

I just ordered one and am a bit worried. On the eBay listing, it was from Canada and it ships to the UK. it had a picture of what firmware it supports and 9.9.0.26 was on there.

Can anybody confirm it works on 9.9.0.26E?

I have 9.9.0.26U and it works fine.

There will never be a difference between regions for this kind of thing, it will for sure work.

european, usa, or japan or whatever is exactly the same for DS GAMES (including ds flashcarts)
any card that works on 8.x firmware will work on last firmware

however when you use a DS card it enters in DS mode, which is region free

Im browsing different sites where you can buy the gold pro. Im sorry that I am extremely paranoid.

there are thousans of r4 cards that have "gold" on the name, or "r4i" "sdhc" etc etc etc
they all have names very close to each other, which is a pain to choose the right one
and most are clones or fakes or whatever... even for me its hard to understand

however, i tell you what exactly you should get

if it says "pro" most likely it is not that one...
when the card arrives, you will have to go into the website printed on the card, download the files, put on sd card and done
however if it says it supported 9.x (9 dot something) i assure you the letter on the firmware doesn't mean anything (for DS cards)

ha, i bought this same one from same dealer and it arrived yesterday (Ontario to Alberta in 3 days, nice) the card is from www.r4isdhc.com and has the problem mentioned here : https://gbatemp.net/threads/r4isdhc-gold-pro-2015-firmware-expire.396437/
set the 3ds (emunand > sysnand?) to anydate before september 3/2015 and it will boot with the kernel download (ver3.5b) on that page.
There doesn't appear to be a Wood kernel for it.

No wood kernel but if you have any issues loading games you can dual boot YSMenu. Go to the thread below and use the files for the cards from www.r4i-sdhc.com

The picture doesn't show the front and the title is carefully worded because eBay would remove the listing. R4 sales aren't 'allowed' on eBay and PayPal will pretty quickly lock up the sellers account.

I don't think the listing should give you worry. There are better ways to rip someone off on ebay than 9£ at a time. Hope the card works great for you!
