Gaming Does the activity log count time spent in sleep mode?

the longest time i have played a 3ds game is Friend List lol. I have done it 577 times and for 15:08.
The system does indeed count play time.

Hmmm, my friend had his 3DS in sleep mode on Zelda, and he thought it was counting... I'll ask him again.

No, the 3DS doesn't count play time while in sleep mode I can confirm that. I spent a week in hospital, the 3DS was always on sleep mode even while charging. My play time isn't more than 4 hours a day.

My longest play time is 6 hours.
