Monster Hunter Tri works with the latest Configurable USB Loader and 249d2x56. As long as you are using a cIOS that uses IOS37 or IOS56 as a base, you should be good to go.

When using the installer (or Modmii) you can choose the installation slot. So, if you install it to slot 249, in your USB loader settings for MH3 you would select IOS249 for it to run off. Just make sure when installing that you choose a base of 37 or 56.

assuming you softmodded with ModMii, you should have a default setup with d2x. Try with ios249
