I know some of the XL models do but I want to know if the North American New 3DS models that aren't XL have firmware 9.2?
Damn it, at least I can still run Ninhax and Themehax, right? How much better are the emulators compared to o3DS. Is it true that the SNES and GBA emulators run almost perfectly on n3DS compared to o3DS?They come with 9.5.

If you can do both of those, then you can launch emulators and the best part about that is that I heard the n3DS runs SNES and GBA games full speed or near. You can still do ninjahax and theme hax but I don't know about the emulators.
Seriously I know you're new but have you ever once used the search function on the site? http://gbatemp.net/threads/n3ds-xl-frmware-by-version-number.381479/If you can do both of those, then you can launch emulators and the best part about that is that I heard the n3DS runs SNES and GBA games full speed or near.

So does this include EU N3DSes too?Just so you know, most of the Australian non-XL New 3DS models come with 9.2.
I can't be sure. They are the exact same model of course, but the Australian ones were released over half a year before the European ones.So does this include EU N3DSes too?
Thanks! Do you know about XLs and limited editions?I can't be sure. They are the exact same model of course, but the Australian ones were released over half a year before the European ones.
SNES, yep pretty muchIs it true that the SNES and GBA emulators run almost perfectly on n3DS compared to o3DS?
Does it?GBA, it sucks less balls than o3DS, but still sucks balls.

Please stop making the same thread
GBA emulation is fine on n3DS.Does it?
I don't have a New 3ds to compare, but I've been wondering if the performance of a dstwo flashcart (using it's onboard cpu) would be superior and worth recommending to 03bgood over a New3ds.
With the tempgba-mod emulator on the dstwo flashcart gba emulation is quite decent, with nearly all games running, though some do require frameskip.
If he's talking about buying entirely new hardware to play gba games, that might be an avenue he should consider.
I meant the one that comes with the Starter Kit, it's pretty slow.GBA emulation is fine on n3DS.
Oh, well you didn't say that.I meant the one that comes with the Starter Kit, it's pretty slow.
But RetroArch is amazing
