I do since the switch doesn't have pokemon and some other game series yet it also does not have backward compatibility so you will still need to play your 3ds anyways to play the older games. Which is why I think the 3ds is still alive and won't be discontinued anytime soon.
9 more months to go as Nintendo said support threw 2018

Yeah still got lots of things to play. Working on finishing up Mario and Luigi SSS 3D and SMT: IV A. There are probably still another 10 games or so I would like to play before its all over.

The microSD in mine got corrupted thanks to a faulty reader. So I can't really do much with it until I find all the files I lost, find a way to put them on the card, etc.

I play mine because I am finishing Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice, and because I love playing older consoles.
(Even though it isn't really that old.)

Yes, my favourite Nintendo franchise is Pokemon so my 3DS gets used multiples times a week.

I've recently been using it to play some old GBA too as the screen on my 3DS XL has spoiled me a bit compared to using my GBA.

I really feel you! I have the exact same thing. Bought an Stargate 3DS so can play almost all the games I want... but since my Switch is in the house I just do not really care anymore. It's a shame though... I really liked Zelda: A link between worlds.

switch has no backwards compatibility so it would make sense not to kill it off because the all of the previous gen pokemon games will be on it and they wouldn't want future players to miss out on those. switch is the first time a handheld has no backwards compatibility. you can play all the pokemon game except gen 3 on a 3ds with out hacking.

Every once in awhile, when I have my SD card mounted on my computer, I'll make a backup of it so I have the files.

To answer the OP, I don't use it as much as I'd like, but I get a spurt of a moment where I want to so I go through and update things, and then sometimes play a little and then stop....
