You can bypass the region check just by changing the region in the title's meta/meta.xml using iosuhax. No hack needed after you do that.Thoughts: this ought to allow out-of-region titles, too.
Going to test

That's... Pretty clever. You can bypass the region check just by changing the region in the title's meta/meta.xml using iosuhax. No hack needed after you do that.
Any more info you can give about this? I've changed a EUR title region from 00000004 to 00000002 (USA?) and it still complains about being the wrong region for my console. I even changed the region for the update file as I imagine that has to be altered too and it's not workingYou can bypass the region check just by changing the region in the title's meta/meta.xml using iosuhax. Tell me how to pleaseeee T.TJust tested N64 VC games and Mario Kart DLC all from Wii U USB Helper. Everything worked right, i didn't even had the issue that everybody said about Mario Kart 8, all of the DLC cups were unlocked i played all of them. Next i will test Eshop games and DS games.

It is really not difficultWill there be a guide?
Yes, you need to give it a reason to be re-read. Changing to another user seemed to do it as well. I started adding (EUR) to the end of my changed titles' names so I knew which ones I had modified. That also helped in easily identifying whether I had activated the change.Any more info you can give about this? Edit: Nevermind, I just needed to reboot

Next someone needs to attempt to install homebrew packed with NUSPacker this way.
Anyone have the guts to do so?
Can confirm Wii Sports Club and Smash 4 DLC install fine like this
Also wupserver's title_install function isn't even necessary. Wupinstaller installs DLC and eShop content just fine after iosuhax has been run
"Normal" USB installs that were made with a disc ticket, were made with a disc ticket. The disc tickets are so-called "legit" tickets because they have legitimate signatures that pass IOSU's protectionso we can now install wii sports club and DLC to USB device? but they won't be usable just as is after reboot? how come the normal USB installs work fine directly after reboot

FunkiiU's fake ticktets for DLC and eShop only use the title key to create a ticket that's the right format, but it's missing the signature. It can only be played with signature checks patched out, which is what iosuhax does. So you need to run iosuhax to patch out sig checks
Right now this needs to be done manually, but eventually coldboothax will make the process automatic, and you'll never have to think about it again
great! gonna wait then! getting legit tickets for DLC is not possible?
the main point of brazilian methods is: disc tickets are universalgreat! gonna wait then! getting legit tickets for DLC is not possible?
