ROM Hack dls or sf2?

Hi, I extracted a song for mario kart ds demo and I extracted it twice with VGMtrans, first with midi and dls and second with midi and sf2. The dls one was converted to wav with fl studio 12 and the other with Foobar2000. I think that they sound different. Do you know why. If it is yes the answer: which is the best format, whichis the most acurate? Is the problem with VGMtrans or is from the dls or sf2 files?

The sf2 one is slightly better than the dls one.

I'm talking about the quality, sf2 is better, I just tested with NSMB.

Both sf2 and dls can miss some channels though...

forget that. Can i use VGMtrans and get good quality with the soundfonts I mean, if i use this instead tool box, is the same quality
