Hacking DJ Hero 1 DLC

Ok, I'm frustrated. I pulled the PAL release of DJ Hero a while back. I own the NTSC version now, but all my progress is on the PAL version, so I haven't bothered to set up a separate save. I want to pull the DLC, but I haven't had any luck with the "Harry Ballsagna" hack. My Wii is set for NTSC-U and I'm running SM 3.2. Not sure about the Shop Channel version as I've never used it.

What the heck do I need to do in order to get the DLC up and running? Just update the shop channel, or do I have to change my Wii's region to match? Or do I need to change the save so that it'll work with the NTSC game and DLC?

I don't even know if the ~6 songs are worth it; I'm curious more than anything.

You need to have the latest version of the shop channel (20 i believe). I believe there is an option to update it in MMM. You have to make sure your shop is the same region as your game and you should be good to go.
