why is discontinued? ....the only reason that i love this app is for 3D background ......compatibility issues?

Greetings
DSiMenu++ (previously known as SRLoader) replaces TWLoader, as TWLoader is now discontinued, as it'd take longer to maintain both DSiMenu++ and TWLoader repos, also due to the fact that TWLoader takes some time to start, including icon caching, downloading/loading box art, and pauses when picking a game.
DSiMenu++ has none of these issues, replicates the DSi Menu more accurately, and only working on that will bring faster updates.
As a result, we now just have one menu to load ROMs on the SD card through, and the upside is that it works on both DSi and 3DS/2DS consoles! ;)

I just updated TWLoader and now when I launch it I get a crash screen with this log https://drive.google.com/open?id=14OyBU3z9_dH5IfJfo3nm5LTxvCtaPfX3
Can anybody help me? And before you tell me to switch DSiMenu++, the reason I'm not doing that is because I just prefer TWLoader. DSiMenu++ is lacking a few features that I found really useful or just nice to have in TWLoader.

What are those features?
Not who you originally asked, but boxart, and not having to actually use the flashcard/ds mode to pick your games are big ones for me. TWLoader enhances the flashcard experience. DsiMenu++ is more of an alternate flashcard.

for the useful features, mostly seeing the file name and having game-specific setting configurations. for less useful features, boxarts.

The filename display and game-specific settings are in DSiMenu++ now.

Oh well I guess I'll switch then. Boxarts might not be there but support for sub folders makes it largely worth it.

I'd rather keep TWLoader to update the bootstrap, while using DSiMenu++ to run the games until TWLoader ceases to work.

Alright weird question. I know that TWLoader is technically depreciated and replaced with DSMenu++, but I recently got an error when trying to install the last version of TWLoader on my old 3ds. Basically, when I first loaded into the program, it began searching and downloading for the box art. One it got to the final rom (Or after the final rom, it was hard to tell) I got the "An Exception Occurred" error. After rebooting my system and trying to reload TWLoader, I got the error yet again. Did I mess something up during the installation, and if so what did I do wrong? The crash dump is in the rar provided.

Hold both A and Y buttons for a while, after launching TWLoader.

I updated TWLoader to 6.7.0 and it crashed... I opened it again and it froze on 'now checking TWLoader version'. I tried this multiple times with the same result. So, I deleted the .cia and re installed it. Now, the .cia crashes right from thee beginning and the .3dsx is doing what the .cia was doing earlier. Help?

Please note that TWLoader is discontinued, and is recommended to use DSiMenu++ instead, since it supports the newer features of nds-bootstrap.
