More Cleanrips that work great (didnt bother testing nodisk, just left wiisports in drive)

Billy Hatcher And The Giant Egg
Pac-Man World 3

Cleanrips that didn't work
Megaman Anniversary Collection

it gives me an error ......that calls me a muppet.... hmmmmm...

Wind Waker Pal doesn't seem to work for me, whenever I try to load it, it gives me a Green screen! I've been using Dios Mios Lite v1.5.

I don't know which loader you are using, but if you haven't already done so you should try Fix94's DML Booter.
Other possible solutions:

- Install a clean MIOSv10 and then re-install DML and then launch the game
- Insert any Disc into the drive if you haven't already done so
- Update to the new DM 2.0

How can I fiund out what is the deal with the partitions?
In windows, in disk management (right click on "My Computer" and hit "manage" and select "Disk Management" from the list on the left.) if the partition has a green border it's an extended partition (bad) and if not it's a primary partition (good, but it means something else is the problem.)

If it's a primary partition, that means it would have to be just an incompatible device. If your hard drive is in a USB hard drive enclosure or connected to a IDEtoUSB or SATAtoUSB cable, it would be a case of disconnecting the hard drive from that device and try connecting it through another device.
If it's just a USB hard drive that you can't separate, you're gonna have to stick with DML until they improve drive compatibility.

MY story short and sweet , installed DM wad , upgraded wiiflow to r506 , realised my FAT partition is at the wrong end of the drive , decided against bothering to move the ntfs section to much hassle , wiiflow now crashes each time , reverted back to last known setup wiiflow r431 , wiiflow crashes , installed DML as i assume that overwites DM , wiiflow works 50% of the time , no idea why , i have cleared all caches etc ... its now just hit and miss wether it works or not. i know this is more a wiiflow issue than DM but i feel somehow my attempts a DM caused it.

Thanks Linkfan DML Booster worked.

Damn, This works great !!! Using CFG, DM 2.0, 1TB Seagate HDD, Running game's perfectly.

Thanks to everyone involved creating DM / DML !!! Much appreciated :)

I figured out why after reading the .nfo - CUBESOFT's release is trimmed while iNTERNAL is a full rip, that's where the incompatibility stems from. Thanks for the tip-off, I'll look around for the iNTERNAL release.
You can always use this tool to un-trim the ISO and see if it works that way. It might be faster.

It can also be used to conver TO DiscEx and GCReEx formats with a GUI.

black screen on "The Spongebob SquarePants Movie"
my little sister would really like me to get it going, so does anybody have any idea? Its wierd because Battle for Bikini Bottom works just fine. :/

Dios Mios 2.0 compatibility list:
(All games launched with DML Booter r22 on real nand. All games are NTSC using component cables.)

You're doing something wrong. The controller is locked during loading times. If your USB drive is slow you will get slow loading times. I would try formatting to 32k clusters if you haven't already. Sonic adventure 2 battle worked great for me, i just had to let it load

The game actually loads and continues to work despite my lack of input, so that can't be true. The only thing that doesn't work is my controller (Which is in proper working order). So loading time isn't my issue.

Did you ever get this issue resolved? I'm having the same problem. Games are loaded, but I can't press start to actually get farther than the start screens

Sadly no. I was told there's a way to make a log file, but there wasn't an option in USB loader GX so I couldn't do that. Try Luigi's Mansion. If that works for you, then we likely have the same issue. It's the only game that works for me so far.

I can confirm "Final_Fantasy_Crystal_Chronicles_PAL_MULTI_GCN-CUBESOFT" release doesn't work.
But Instead "Final_Fantasy_PAL_MULTi5_NGC_WORKING_iNTERNAL_For_Wii-OneUp" release loads just fine!

By the way,

TimeSplitters - Future Perfect [PAL] - Perfect

And this is why i hate compressed games and the like... if ya screw up even just a bit, you get a bad rip. Would be better if people could just rip the full games.

Sounds like you might have a bad rip?
My copy works just fine. (I ripped mine from my disc.)

It's the only game I've gotten to work so far. The rest won't recognize my controller no matter what formatting or options I choose. (with the exception of Pokemon Colosseum, which crashes when I press start on the start screen)

would a PAL version iso work on my NTSC wii?

There's no reason it wouldn't.
Try forcing NTSC in the settings of your loader, if possible.

That depends more on the TV.
If you force PAL in the loader and your TV supports PAL then there should be no problem.
Some games will let you force NTSC and other's will just crash if you try so it's hit or miss for that part.

The only real difference when it's a "NTSC Wii" is the system menu version and the format of the settings it uses.
A lot of homebrew choose their image resolution based on those settings.

anybody try Tony hawk's american wasteland yet? I tried it and it froze at the "licinsed by Nintendo" screen
maybe i got a bad dump of that one too
