see if Panasonic SD Formatter works for you.

The download link is on the left and is also available for Mac users.
That tool does not support cluster size selection so if you try it one, make sure to also try another tool, such as Windows's chkdsk or EaseUS Partition Master, to format the card to FAT32 with 64kB clusters and compare. I did lots of tests with my 32GB card and verified that 64kB clusters made a huge difference, whereas using the different tools did not really matter.
There seems to be a notion floating around that cluster size does not matter any more with recent releases of DML but, in my experience, it makes all the difference. I'm not referring to benchmark tests like DMLST; I've done my testing measuring load times in specific parts of some games. Size does matter in this case.
What exactly does the tool which I mentioned do? If it's just formatting, I'll get rid of it.

It just formats the card but it chooses the cluster size for your. Their webpage claims you should avoid tools embedded within OS's, like chkdsk, and use their "official" tool instead for best performance, but I did not see any difference between that, PM and chkdsk when formatting to 32KB. Perhaps it does a good job of optimizing access to the card in other applications, but for DML, cluster size is what makes the biggest difference for me.
Ironically, my Patriot 4GB card which I found to be slow loading apps from the homebrew channel, loads content from GCN games faster than my Lexar 32GB 10x but, oh well, I'm not going to shell out another $30 to try another card.
What I normally use as an in-game benchmark is F-Zero GX. I measure the time it takes to go in Practice mode, from the cup selection screen to the track selection screen on the cup I just selected.
- With the actual game disc, this takes ~2 sec.
- With my current 32GB card, ~2.5 sec.
- With that card formatted with 32kB clusters, ~4-5 sec
- With the smaller card formatted with 64kB clusters, ~2 sec (virtually indistinguishable from the real deal)

I need to get a speed test up at some point for my Sandisk 2GB Micro SD.

Just a query, I patched and compressed Star Fox Adventures and it says streaming file_name.adp not fixed. Any possible theories behind this at all?

DML used to work like a charm for the past week until yesterday after I tried to run a game off a USB flash drive, now games that used to work 100% take forever to load, and yes I'm running them off an SD card, loading screens take forever, music lags, game freezes, I tried everything, uninstalling/reinstalling DML, formatting the SD card, trying two other SD cards, deleting the game is and recreating it, I even reinstalled NAND with BootMii a couple of times with two older builts and am still getting the same lag, HELP!

Edit: I tried uninstalling Priiloader then installing it again, now I can't get any GC games to run, black screen!

Maybe a part of your hardware was broken.

After doing many testing I can confirm the issue is within my Wii now, not the SD, but I'm not sure if it's hardware or software, would formatting the system fix the issue? btw Wii, Wiiware, Gamecube (via disks) and all that seems to work fine, only DML.

Edit: I got a respond from this guy in this video

...

he suggested that I install a clean BCv6 using NUSDownloader but make sure I unplug the USB device first, I did so and now I'm back to them working but slow, it's still an improvement.

Has there been any progress on the TriForce emulation on the Wii, also is there any way to donate toward the TriForce launcher?
Just drop a donation onto crediar and ask for it, would be the best, this is just a guess bc Triforce wasnt part of the deal but cant be wrong to try though ;)

Hows dml work without gamecube memory card? Can it saves with sd?
Yes just make sure you use one that says NMM which stands for "no more memory" it reads the sd like it is a memory card.

I really wish there was a way to transfer saves from official memory cards, I've been stuck on ToS disc change forever and without disc chaging being implemented in DML I could at least extract/ play using dolphin.

Dude, you've missed a bunch of posts on this. You can dump save files from official memory cards using Swiss, but you need an SD Gecko. Of course, if you don't have one, you're SOL, but they are cheap.

I think, someone read what I said about a new tool... Lol

Anyway... It may not have on the spot NMM conversion, but.. At least it will do. :)

Update: Mario Kart: Double Dash! (PAL) is the only game that I know of, which actually loads and saves through NMM. but using the no-disc method, it does disc error after a while (Soul Calibur II (PAL) does this as well).

Although... when playing Luigi's Mansion (PAL) using my save (using NMM), it says that the save was corrupt and had to be deleted. Anyway... it still saves, but I haven't tried loading saves as yet though.

I have no idea if its already been asked/discussed, but I was wondering if it was possible to run multi-disc games by swapping SD cards?

Out of curiosity, what are the lines in the source that need to be changed to enable NMM or other features? I have everything set up to compile but I'm either misreading the included readme file, or it's out of date since the things it directs me to change aren't matching up with what I see in the code.

Yeah sorry, tl;dr 187 posts but I did however read a couple posts back when that was mentioned it's just I do not have an SD Gecko so I'm SOL.

That program works great even from official nintendo cards!!!! My lifes problem is finally solved! Thanks!

So I'm trying to find a good SD card to get to start using with DML. What does anyone wise to this stuff think about these two options?

http://www.amazon.co...32551847&sr=1-2

http://www.amazon.co...32552070&sr=1-3

Obviously it would probably be safer to go with the SanDisk. Unfortunately, I'm having a hell of a time finding any microSD Class 10 Sandisk cards. And I would much rather get a microSD card because, while my computer has an SD slot, it's very finicky, and I much prefer just using microSD->USB for transferring stuff on my PC.

Any suggestions/opinions, anybody?

I would like to sincerely apologise to the developers of DML for saying that the controller shortcuts was a "lazy" feature to add.

It is actually benefiting to know that you can easily get back to the Wii Menu in a simple button combination.

I tried to start game with postloader and got black screen. Whats problem?

Probably like my issue from before, try installing a clean BC BCv6 using NUSDownloader, that did the trick for me...

On the topic, I still have an issue of slow games and freezing which probably due to a mistake I made earlier on my Wii but DML now is useless for me until I figure out how to get it to work again!

btw sorry for asking but what do you mean by "multi-disk games"? I thought games that use two disks like Resident Evil let you save your progress when finishing the first disk then you can start right from the second disk with the save file you got, doesn't this work?
