I never played any Japanese games with DML, and did not do/start any sort of mod for them.

I wouldn't be to sure. CFG has a more limited scope than the other loaders and is not being developed very actively at the moment.Although... It should be a must though, surely?
As I usually use CFG USB Loader and it could be useful.
As soon as I jump into the DML band wagon, it's back to wiiflow for me. What I like about CFG is that its appearance is more refined; compare, for instance, its game info screen to that of wiiflow's. However, wiiflow is a lot more functional, and with FIX94's involvement it has gained much welcomed flexibility (works again with Crap shortcuts, forwarder ISO's, supports DML, etc.).
However, back to the topic:
Must DML be installed in order to launch the SD card testing app? How is it launched?
Also, the google code page says that is stores the results on an SD card through a USB-Gecko.
Does it also show the results on the screen?
Looking at your post, you REALLY should look into the latest usb loader gx.
Light years ahead....

And btw a lot of GC games look really good! ( beyond good and evil, windwaker, starfox adventures, mariokart DD, Paper mario, F Zero GX... all TOP Productions)
I really wished Wii had this level of quality all the time....

If game banner support is what you're looking for... it hasn't been implemented yet.I think i have the latest usb loader gx (ver 2.3) but i cant find in it the dml launch option. I have used neogamma for dml. How can i start the dml in the loader gx? Thx!

Time to get some NTSC games.....

Not at all. I haven't tried the mod revision from FIX94. Now I'm sticking with the revision with cheat codes from @conanac.Aren't you getting the memory card problem?
Hmm...I sorta had that situation this morning. In the end, I had both working and a GC memory card that became corrupted.Sorry if my question is answered before but I tried to use DML with no success.Until now I was using Swiss with my Wii (via WiiPower's excellent Swiss Booter from HBC) and I am actually pretty impressed with Emu_kidid's work.But I also tried DML.I have already installed cIOSX d2x ver7 in the corresponiding slots and RVL-MIOS-V10.wad.
So,I followed the guide,installed DML r21.wad from ModMii,extracted the games with DiscEx and after that I tranfered them to my 32gb SD card.
Using NeoGamma's latest beta,NeoGamma found the games normally (that is proof that my folder structure was correct),I put an original GC game in Wii's drive and launched the game.But unfortunately the Wii had a hard reset.
After that,I decided to launch Swiss again and there was my second dissapointment.Swiss Booter could not load Swiss menu at all.I panicked.I re-installed RVL-MIOS-V10.wad (I suppose this wad overwrites DMLr21) and after that everything has returned to normal.Swiss Booter was jut fine.
After 3 days from my first attempt with DML,I have 2 questions as I want to try DML again and be a part of the community.
-What have I done wrong?Has anyone got an idea?
-Is it possible to use both DML and Swiss in real nand or not?I hate the thought that in order to use one you have to sacrifice the other.

I just checked the regular version on PAL paper mario, and it seems to work fine. The compatibility list mentions "with r30 32Gb class 10 64Kb freeze when curtain closing"...but I played long enough for some battles and the corresponding curtains to close (8GB class 10 64k cluster size SD card here).May somebody want to try if it makes a difference with fix for paper mario rpg vs regular version:
