All my other games work with the memory cards in ePSXe except Digimon World. No matter how I try to save; When sleeping, or from the thing in the house, it does NOT save! When I try to load, it is all blank and there are no save files. Same if I open the memory card in the SaveEdit program, Digimon World is nonexistent. The memory card files do exist.

I am using 'individual memory cards by game' option.

I do not think that it is a configuration issue, as all the other games work just fine.

I Googled the problem but nothing relevant came up.

Does anybody know what the problem could be?

Hey! I have the same problem, yet no solution...

I would like to know why this happens as well. All of my games save correctly, using the premade memory cards.
But my "Future Cop L.A.P.D" iso just doesn't seem to find my memorycards, therefore I can't save.

If anyone has a solution to this, please let me know!

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Slightly slower loading but a bit more convenient
