Which do you prefer for place names?!

Hi all,

Long time no update :P
Sorry I was too busy and the translation is slow due to limited translators and real life issues.

The first page is updated, I put more spoilers to make cleaner.

So, I was trying to fix some of the text size issue and I tried to fix the font. And this was the result.

The old is the left-side and the new one is on the right. :P

So, what do you think? Is it OK or we should use the old one?

I think the new one is a lot better! Finally, great to see some progress :D

I really like the new one, saves space. Maybe this will make our jobs easier?
Not much. But in my side "inserting text", I will be able to add more text.

Also, the edited font need fixes. Since, if you check the image on the right, most numbers didn't appear.
I need to check what is the issue and fix it. Then the new font will be usable.

Huh. Apparently GBA Temp decided I was no longer interested in following this topic. I just thought no one had posted for several months. Anyway, glad that progress is being made, though disappointed that once again we're moving away from fully accurate translation.

There was some mention of doing a later, "dubbed" version of the game. It would be better in my opinion to save the altered names for that. But, whatever. As you said, people have voted, and I think I already have the real names on file.

Ah yes that was what I offered to do if people wanted 100% dubbed names for the digimon names.
I haven't really thought of items etc to be honest.

Digimon Story: Lost Evolution Translation Project

Introduction:
This is a project to translate DSLE which is started by influence of the original Project. This is the new topic which will (hopefully) hold answers to all of your questions except one (When the patch will be released). You will be able to check the progress of the project here in the first post.

If you are looking forward to a patch release or are a supporter of the project hit the like button this first post. Please DO NOT fill this thread with un-needed support posts or questions on when it will get released.

Note: if anyone of you can translate the story, I will be glad to give you the access to the translation sheet.
Please send me your gmail (google) account to access google docs (Google Drive) and I will give you access.
This can make the translation faster, as I can fix the text in the game little by little faster even while studying.

Hey I do not know Japanese but if you need a beta tester or something I'm here at [email protected]

The new font is much easier on the eyes :)

I'm very happy to see an update, I sometimes get worried that real life will prevent this from being finished, which would be completely understandable but still upsetting as you have done all this work already but that's not the case so I don't know why I'm rambling :P

Do u guys use Google translate? If I could use Google translate, I'll help with the translation job. Just give me the details on how to work/the, uh, "procedure", or so to speak.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the fully patched game! I played it in Japanese, got so far, and gave up. It was such hard work! Keep up the good work! Hope to see it done soon!
