Hacking difficulties getting ysmenu to work on my clone

Hey there, due to the recent release of firmware that circumvents the ARM7 anti-piracy measures, I've decided to upgrade the firmware on my R4 SDHC (this one : http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa112/d...ws/r4sdhc3.jpg). I used the r4ysauto and whenever I try to load a game on my r4 I just get a white screen. I tried using the r4 of a friend of mine and the game loads fine (he has a legit normal r4) with my microsd card. I am able to use official r4 firmware (from r4ds.cn) so I'm not entirely sure what's going on. Any information you gents could supply would be immensely helpful.
