Did Skype being down today affect anyone

Mine is right now showing my Contacts but I am not online. Some users are back up though.

Yeah, I usually talk to one of my best non IRL friends on there. So it was pretty annoying. Skype is great if you have a mic. It's pretty much a free phone.

If you do not know what is skype then you should just take ten steps away from your computer and tell it "I will never touch you again and If I do I will shoot myself in my foot."

Also any major business that uses skype only does so to help cut communication costs they all have a back up in place and that's usually a real phone.

What ever. Back on topic show me a company that solely relies on skype for their telecommunications needs. I don't think it really affected any single company at all. Didn't affect me none and I've used it before I won't lie it's definitely a money saver but it's not going to replace a cell phone anytime soon.

That sucks for you man being 16 and having to rely solely on skype for your business. If your business grows and you can afford it you should talk to your parent(s) and get a decent cell phone or something.

It didn't effect me at all, i have never used Skype before, don't have a fast computer, webcam, OR EVEN FREAKING SOUND!
When i get a laptop in 2 days i might use it though.
